The Earth is our home, it sustains us and yet we, as a collective whole of the human species, are damaging it. Anthropogenic climate change is here and we have the power to stop it if we really wanted to.
Earth Day is a great way to give back to the Earth (through planting, picking up trash, or going zero waste for the day), but we should be doing this every day. We should look at our daily habits and ask whether or not this is sustainable not only for us, but for the planet. If we are provided the information or resources to do better, then we should, not just for the sake of ourselves, but for future generations and most importantly, the planet.
